The Beatles appeared in many films, several of which as themselves. However, there are many roles and cameos in many films the Beatles have made over the years that the casual fan may not be aware of. This part of the website is for those people so obsessive they feel the need to rent these movies and search endlessly for the coveted cameos. Well, it is also for those people just curious about where the Beatles popped up in cinematography, or about the movies the Beatles made themselves.
I will start with "the Beatles movies". These are the movies in which the Beatles (or animated counterparts) appear as themselves. In four of them, the plot line is ficticious and the Beatles come off something like created characters, but the last is a documentry of the Let It Be recording sessions, and as real as the Beatles got on camera. So here they are in as close to chronological order as I can muster.
The following movie isn't really a movie persay, rather a taping of the Beatles over a few days of their first visit to the United Sate, but it is available on VHS and is hilarious.
The rest of the movies, in no particular order, are films which included at least one of the Beatles in either a cameo or a scripted role. Each page contains as much information on these movies as I have. If anyone would like to supply me with more, I am more than open to it. If I have missed any movies, please let me know at once, and I will try to mend the errs. Thank you.
