![]() ![]() Plot: There really isn't one. It's really sort of a silly documentry of the Beatles' first visit to the United States. It, like A Hard Day's Night, features scenes of the lads being mobbed with masses hysterical girls and fooling around on a train.
Best Scene Of The Movie: I'd never realised how similar this documentry is to A Hard Day's Night (aside from the lack of a meddling McCartney grandfather) until I started writing this review. The best scene of the movie, here, is still definately the train scene.
Best One-Liner Of The Movie: While the Beatles are packing in their hotel room, and it's Paul's. He says: "Look, Ringo, I've done an abstract." Not that those words in and of themselves are very funny, but the way he says them certainly is.
Best Exchange Of The Movie: The 'cigarette commercial' exchange between John and George. George is so stiff and blatantly talking to the camera, while John speaking almost naturally.
Most Embarressing Scene Of The Movie: You all are going to think I hate Ringo, which isn't the case at all. But again, I have to say the most embarressing part of the movie is his- when he performs "I Wanna Be Your Man" at the concert. The poor man's mike doesn't work, and he can't hear himself. Which with Ringo, unfortunatly, means that he was a bit off key. I think it would have been okay if his mike had been on.
