![]() ![]() ![]() Help!
![]() ![]() Plot: Ringo recieves a ring in a letter from "an eastern bird....girl". And, being Ringo, he of course puts it on. As it turns out, the ring is the scared sacrifical ring of the dread Kahili, an eight-armed eastern god who demands human sacrifice. This doesn't seem to be a problem, until Ringo finds he can't take the ring off. The movie then follows his, and the rest of the Beatles', attempts to rid themselves of the ring, and the escapades of the band of Kahili worshippers and, later, the mad scientists who desperately seek the ring. (Or Ringo's life!) The chase leads them from jolly-old-England, to the Alps, back again, and even to the Bahamas.
Best Scene Of The Movie: So many to chose from! I think, after much deliberation, that I'm going to have to go with the battle in their apartments, otherwise known as "Paul's Exciting Adventure On The Floor." I also like the scene in the scientists' lab, and the bar scene.
Best One-Liner Of The Movie: Ringo's line "I used to leave it there when I wasn't using it for school." In this line "it" is his head, and "there" is between the railings that the fire department evidently freed him from.
Best Exchange Of The Movie: It's a tie. It's either the exchange between George and John during the battle, ("It's me, me you fool! "Oh, sorry" "Well then stop it!") or the exchange between John and Ringo at the resturant. ("What's this?" "A season ticket, what's it look like?" "Oh, good, I like a lot of seasonin' in me soup.")
Most Embarresing Scene Of The Movie: Getting everybody to the Bahamas. (And so did....and so did...) It's tedious, it breaks up the flow of the movie, and it prevents one from getting to Another Girl, which is a great little musical sequence involving the Beatles switching up their instruments, throwing rocks, and Paul playing a girl instead of a bass.
